Event Details

Emilia Van Hauen visits Varpið with her lecture:

“Make room. Free the mind and creative abilities.”

It is not without reason that it was an unstoppable woman who sparked another wave of the Danish #metoo movement. She addressed three needs that women have almost always been hungry for:

Beauty Sexuality Sociality The Unstoppables do not allow themselves to be governed by moral norms, values, and events if it limits the woman or her abilities. Instead, it’s the individual mind and creative abilities that govern.

That’s what we as a society need! Statistics on strength, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and insomnia show that both society and the individual are off track. And Covid-19 has shown how the world is increasingly facing “wicked problems” that require a new way of thinking.

It’s the Unstoppable women! They dare to take up space and follow their own minds. They bring their contributions. They create a healthy social culture in society. In other words, they can help create a better world balance. For all people and for the planet.

Emilia Van Hauen is a sociologist, lecturer, board member, strategy advisor, commentator, and author.
