Exciting Embroidery Exhibition at Varpið during Norðoyastevna

Paulina Eliasen is set to release her new book, “Embroidery for the Faroese National Costume 3”. The book features 10 new vest patterns inspired by flowers from the Stóraryggi hillside in Syðradalur. Three of the vests are showcased in two different styles.

In conjunction with the book launch, an intriguing exhibition will be held at Varpið, displaying 13 unique vest pieces and matching hosubond (leg bands).

The exhibition will be open on the following days:

• Friday, May 31st: 3 PM – 6 PM
• Saturday, June 1st: 3 PM – 6 PM
• Sunday, June 2nd: 3 PM – 6 PM
