Heiðrikur á Heygum's Art Exhebition

Heiðrikur á Heygum is showcasing his artwork at the Old Sailhouse in Klaksvík from Friday, October 4th, to October 25th, 2024. The art exhibition is titled “What Now?”. The exhibition features 12 watercolor paintings, each depicting the human body in various deconstructed forms.

The exhibition revolves around the theme of transformation, where Heiðrikur reflects on the journey from something old to something new. In his artworks, he contemplates recreation, rebirth, identity, and healing. – To start anew, one must break apart.

The opening event will be on Friday, October 4th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The exhibition can be visited on weekdays from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Sundays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
