Ullakvøld í Spinnarínum

Frá 25. september og heilt fram til jóla kanst tú hvørt hóskvøld spinna, karða ella kemba í Spinnarínum!

Húsið verður opið frá 17-22 hvønn hósdag. Atgongd kostar 100 krónur. Tú betalir, tá ið tú møtir upp (kontant ella flyting).
Við í prísinum er nýtsla av amboðum umframt kaffi og te. Áhugafelagið eigur 10 fótarokkar, 12 handsnældur, 8 handkarðar, 9 rullikarðar, 4 hespuvindarar, 4 kambar, 3 lítlastrá, tveir elrokkar og tveir spolahaldarar).

Nevndarlimir í Áhugafelagnum eru vertir á tiltakinum.

Hevur tú ikki mót upp á at fara í gongd við rokkarnar ella karðarnar beinanvegin, men hevur hug at njóta rokkadunið, vera saman við ullaglaðum fólki og kanska sita eina løtu og binda, hekla, tøva ella annað, so ert tú eisini vælkomin. Og so stuðlar tú eisini Áhugafelagnum við 100 krónum.

Áhugafelagið hevur vaskaða ull til sølu.

Um tú vilt tryggja tær, at eitt ávíst amboð er tøkt til tín (og tú t.d. skalt koyra langvegis) ber til at skriva til spinnariid@gmail.com og bíleggja ávíst amboð. Bíleggingin kann bara gerast dagin fyri.

Ullakvøldini fram til jóla vera sostatt hesar dagar: 25. september, 2. oktober, 9. oktober, (heystferia), 23. oktober, 30. oktober, 6. november, 13. november, 20. november, 27. november, 4. desember, 11. desember og 18. desember.

From 25 September and all the way until Christmas, you can come to the Spinning Room every Thursday evening to spin, card, or comb wool!

The house is open from 17:00–22:00 every Thursday.
Entrance costs 100 DKK, which you pay when you arrive (cash or bank transfer).

The price includes the use of equipment as well as coffee and tea.
The association owns the following equipment:
10 spinning wheels, 12 drop spindles, 8 hand carders, 9 drum carders, 4 niddy-noddies, 4 wool combs, 3 lazy kates, 2 electric spinning wheels, and 2 bobbin holders.

Members of the association’s board will host the event.

If you’re not quite ready to jump straight into spinning or carding, but would simply like to enjoy the sound of spinning wheels, spend time with wool-loving people, or perhaps sit for a while knitting, crocheting, felting, or doing another craft, you are equally welcome. And by joining, you are also supporting the association with your 100 DKK contribution.

The association also sells washed wool.

If you want to make sure a specific tool is available for you (especially if you are travelling a long distance), you can email spinnariid@gmail.com and reserve equipment. Reservations can only be made the day before.

Wool Evenings leading up to Christmas will take place on the following dates:

4 December, 11 December, and 18 December.
