“Show Time” will be a spectacular concert filled with a diverse range of musical theater pieces, including selections from the famous opera ‘Carmen’ and the musical ‘Jekyll and Hyde’.
The audience can expect an entertaining performance of high quality, taking them on a musical journey through various styles and eras within the opera and musical theater worlds.
The idea behind the project is to combine the skills and interests of the musicians into a concert that covers a wide range of genres. This keeps the audience engaged, captivated by the diverse music.
Repertoire from the opera and musical theater worlds is rarely performed in the Faroe Islands. Therefore, it is of great importance for Faroese cultural life that it becomes possible to experience high-quality performances of these genres. This helps inspire Faroese children, youth, and possibly also adults. Moreover, it enhances their cultural understanding.
