Special Album Release Concert with Jósef Zachariassen

Experience the special album release concert by Jósef Zachariassen in Fugloy!

On September 13th, Jósef invites us to Fugloy to experience the complete album he has written and recorded on the island. The concert is unique in that it is a full-day trip, which Jósef hopes we will join him on.

The concert will be held in the beautiful church in Fugloy, where Jósef will guide us through his journey on the island.

Note: The boat ticket is included with the concert ticket.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

• 2:45 PM: The boat departs from Hvannasund to Fugloy (Be sure to arrive in Hvannasund in good time!)
• A guided walk in Fugloy will be organized, and everyone can participate.
• 4:30 PM: Album release concert in the church.
• 6:00 PM: Café – refreshments and snacks available for purchase at Amalia’s café.
• 7:15 PM: The boat returns to Hvannasund.

In 2022, Jósef had enough of city life in Oslo, Norway, and moved to an old family house in Fugloy. There, he found peace to exist, write music, and reflect on himself. Jósef found great inspiration in Fugloy – especially in the nature, the church, the tranquility, and the stories he was told.

He wrote a lot of music and lyrics, which he spent the next two years arranging, recording, and mixing.

The result is a full album titled “Fugloy,” which will be released on all digital streaming platforms on September 13th, through the label Tutl. On the same day, Jósef will return to the Faroe Islands with his band to perform the album for the first time!
