Teitur bjóðar til Jólakonsert

Um jóltíðir bjóðar sangarin og tónasmiðurin Teitur til eina serstaka jólakonsert, bæði í Keypmannahavn og Klaksvík. Við sínum orðum og ljómi lovar hann eitt kvøld við nærveru, lekjandi tónleiki og jólahýri – bæði við siðbundnum Teitur løgum eins og nýggjari tónleik millum annað frá nýggju jólaútgávuni Yule. Gamalt var at Teitur hevði jólakonsert í Spaniastovu og nú er tíðin sjálvandi búgvin at fara í Varpið.

Um útgávuna Yule

Yule varð latin út í desembur 2024 og er eitt samstarv ímillum Teit, donsk/svensku fólkatónleikatrioina Dreamers Circus og tónleikaran Mads Kjøller. Saman skapa teir eina tónlistaliga ferð ígjøgnum jólini við siðbundnum løgum og nýggjum verkum sum er bundið saman í ymiskum spølnum stíli.

Um Teit

Síðan debut útgávuna Poetry & Aeroplanes hevur Teitur rótfest seg sum ein av mest serstaku og kendastu sangskrivarum í Norðanlondum. Tónleikurin og hansara evnir at skapa nærveru og erligar sangir hevur borið hann runt allan heim – bæði til lítil innilig spælistøð til stórar konsertsalir – eins og samstarv og útgávur við nógv ymisk tónlistafólk, kór og bólkar.

In earlier years, Teitur’s Christmas concerts were held at Spaniastova, and now the time has come to move to Varpið.

About the album Yule

Yule was released in December 2024 and is a collaboration between Teitur, the Danish/Swedish folk trio Dreamers’ Circus, and musician Mads Kjøller. Together, they create a musical journey through Christmas with traditional songs and new compositions woven together in a variety of playful styles.
