Mark your calendars! From June 3rd to June 7th, Lydia Petersen will be unveiling her mesmerizing art exhibition at Varpinum.

Prepare to be captivated by over 30 vibrant pieces, ranging from acrylic paintings to abstract watercolors and mixed media creations.

Lydia’s artistic journey spans decades of passion and dedication. Her debut at the Norðoyastevna in 1989 marked the beginning of an illustrious career, with annual showcases ever since. She’s hosted numerous independent exhibitions, both locally and beyond the shores of Klaksvík.

Her canvases burst with color and vitality, each stroke a testament to her boundless creativity. From whimsical, skewed houses to abstract wonders and playful portraits, Lydia’s repertoire knows no bounds. And, of course, her love for Klaksvík shines through in every brushstroke.

Join us for the grand opening on Monday, June 3rd, at 7 p.m. Musical enchantment awaits courtesy of Monika Stauss and Helga Gerðalíð, while Dávur Winther adds his eloquent touch to the evening.
