What do young people think about leadership? You might be wondering what they mean by that. Contact us at barbara@mentor.fo.

In short, it’s about understanding what young people in the labor market believe a leader should be like and what they prioritize at work. Research shows that young people desire, among other things:

  • Close contact with their leader
  • Guidance and support
  • A leader who listens and is social
  • Influence over their work
  • A pleasant and enjoyable work environment

How should today’s leaders address these needs?

Join us for the event!
We offer insight into the work environment in the Faroe Islands, focusing on the youth and the labor market and its generations. Annika Helgadóttir Davidsen and Durita Fagradal Augustinussen will present their research findings.

We have gathered some young people to participate in a panel discussion about youth and leadership. We will also hear about what a mentoring approach entails.

There will be chatting, mingling, and good music. Light snacks, cake, coffee, and other refreshments will be provided.

If you wish to participate, please send a notification to barbara@mentor.fo by Monday, November 11 at the latest.

The Faroese Mentorship Program is a public organization focused on the personal leadership development of current and future leaders.
