This is an authentic fishing and sightseeing tour! You sail in a traditional Faroese boat facilitating mindful exploration. There can be up to 5 guests on board.
You sail out from the Árnafjørður marina and follow the dramatic eastern seashore with ravines and sea-caves. The area is perfect for landscape photography. Further along the shoreline you see “Bergið” and see the view east towards the island of Svínoy. You cross the fiord towards the iconic headland Lisshøvdi and explore the western shores of the fiord.
On your tour you hear local stories. You observe seabirds such as puffins and seals are often seen.
In the area by Bergið and Lisshøvdi you cast your fishing line! The area is known for good fishing. Some of the fish you may catch are Haddock, Atlantic cod and Saithe. Sometimes you are in luck to catch other species including Ling, Tusk, Redfish and flatfish.
You are welcome to keep the fish that you catch. Nowhere on the planet can you find fish as tasty and fresh as this!
