This is an authentic fishing and sightseeing tour! You sail in a traditional Faroese boat facilitating mindful exploration. There can be up to 5 guests on board.
You sail from the northern marina in Hvannasund. You hear local stories from the area while you sail by magnificent landscapes. Sailing north you explore the shore of Borðoy towards the abandoned village of Múli. You continue west along the steep Múli headland before you cross towards the Viðoy island. By the Viðoy shore you sail by spectacular gorges and sea-caves, perfect for photography. You are likely to see seabirds such as puffins, guillemot and arctic tern and seals are often seen.
Of the coast by Viðareiði between Viðoy and Borðoy you cast your fishing line. With high mountains to both sides this is a scenic natural amphitheatre. The area is known for good fishing and there are several interesting fishing spots to check out. While some areas are known for Atlantic Cod there are other where you will seek to catch Haddock and Whiting. You may also encounter other interesting species such as the Saithe Redfish and flatfish.
You are welcome to keep the fish that you catch. Nowhere on the planet can you find fish as tasty and fresh as this!
