Haraldssund is a small village located on the island of Kunoy. It lies along the narrow strait of the same name, which separates Kunoy from Borðoy. As of today, around 69 people live in the village.

The village covers 16 merkur of land. Of this, 9 merkur are copyhold land, while 7 merkur are freehold land. Three tenants manage the copyhold land. Sheep farming remains part of daily life, with around 320 sheep in the area.
