Camping for Tents
This booking applies only to tents. If you are travelling with a campervan or caravan, please use the separate booking option for vehicles. This ensures that each guest books the correct type of stay.
The tent site is located next to the football field and offers a simple and convenient place to stay. It is ideal for travellers who want to experience the Faroe Islands up close and enjoy a more traditional outdoor camping experience.
You will have access to essential shared facilities during your stay. These include a kitchen area, toilets, and showers. As a result, you can enjoy both comfort and practicality while camping in nature.
The area is easy to access and provides plenty of space for tents. In addition, the open surroundings create a calm and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
The location makes it easy to discover nearby villages, scenic landscapes, and hiking routes. For example, you can spend the day exploring the area and return to your tent in the evening to relax in peaceful surroundings. At the same time, the fresh air and quiet setting make the experience even more enjoyable.
Unlike campervan and caravan stays, you do not need to book in advance for tents. Instead, you can arrive freely and pay on site, which gives you flexibility when planning your trip.
Check-in and check-out both take place at 14:00. Therefore, you can organise your stay easily and settle in at your own pace.
Please note that a mandatory sustainability fee of DKK 20 per person (aged 16 and above) per night applies. Faroese legislation requires this fee, and it supports sustainable tourism and local infrastructure.
