Experience the Faroese coastline on a family-friendly boat tour from Hvannasund. The traditional Faroese boat invites you to take part in the journey. This makes the trip especially exciting for children.
You can sit at the stern and steer the boat, or help manage the outboard engine. At the same time, you get close to nature. If you stretch out your hand, you can even touch the sea.
From Hvannasund marina, you sail north towards Viðareiði. Along the route, the boat follows the coastline. Here, you pass steep cliffs, narrow gorges, and hidden grottoes. Seabirds circle above, and with a bit of luck, you may spot marine life in the water.
The area around Viðareiði and Múlin offers excellent fishing spots. Once you arrive, the engine is switched off. Then it is time to cast your line. You may catch species such as Atlantic cod, haddock, whiting, redfish, ling, saithe, and plaice.
