Stay at Gamligarður – Svínoy
Stay at Gamligarður, a welcoming guesthouse in the quiet village of Svínoy. The island is known for its dramatic landscapes and untouched nature, offering a unique opportunity to experience life on one of the Faroe Islands’ most remote islands.
The guesthouse is newly renovated and well located in the village. It offers a total of 32 beds across eight family rooms. Each room includes one double bed and two bunk beds. Most rooms have a private bathroom with toilet and shower, while a few rooms share facilities.
Guests can enjoy a shared living area and a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals during their stay. After a day outdoors, you can relax in comfortable surroundings. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
Svínoy offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere and is ideal for walking and birdwatching. With only one small settlement, the island has a close and welcoming community.
