Hvat hendir, tá ein tónleikari og ein grafikari lata sínar skapandi leiðir møtast?

Hjá SonoraWalls verður tað til eitt samspæl millum list, ljóð og visuellar upplivingar. Rúm fáa nýtt lív og fólk sleppa at síggja, lurta og lata seg hugtaka.

Í hesum nýggja verki er útgangsstøðið einfaldir, hvítir kassar! Ljós rennur eftir kantunum. Flatur lata seg upp, litir skifta, og tað fasta tykist fara í upploysn. Skapini standa still, men upplivingin er í støðugari broyting. Frá fínum ljósrákum til kraftmiklar litir og rørslur, ið broyta okkara fatan av dýpd, tilfari og rúmi.

Ljós og ljóð renna saman í eina heild, har sansirnir verða vaktir og eygað verður avbjóðað. Í skiftinum millum tað stilla og tað stórsligna fáa somu skap nýggj úttrykk. Soleiðis verður hvør vitjan, hvør eygleiðing, til eina serliga uppliving millum list og menniskju.

Aftan fyri SonoraWalls standa Magni Husgaard, ljóðdesignari og tónleikari, og Hildur Høghamar, grafikari. Við teirra ymisku førleikum og felags skapandi áræði skapa tey livandi verk, ið hugtaka og fáa fólk at undrast. Verk, ið geva pláss fyri bæði spæli og djúphugsni.

What happens when a musician and a graphic designer bring their creative paths together?

At SonoraWalls, the result is an interplay of art, sound and visual experiences. Spaces come to life, inviting people to look, listen and be captivated.

This new work begins with simple white boxes! Light flows along their edges. Surfaces open up, colours shift, and solid forms seem to dissolve. The shapes remain still, yet the experience is constantly changing. From delicate streams of light to powerful colours and movements that transform our perception of depth, material and space.

Light and sound merge into a whole, awakening the senses and challenging the eye. Moving between the subtle and the spectacular, the same shapes take on new expressions. Each visit, each observation becomes a unique encounter between art and people.

Behind SonoraWalls are Magni Husgaard, sound designer and musician, and Hildur Høghamar, graphic designer. Combining their different skills and shared creative spirit, they create vibrant works that captivate and inspire curiosity. Works that make room for both playfulness and reflection.

They bring Faroese contemporary art into dialogue with the wider world…
