Testovukonsert við Benjamin Petersen

Benjamin, also known as Son of Fortune, will perform at Testovan hjá Marin Malenu at Biskupstøðgarður during Norðoyastevna.

Benjamin is an outlaw rock ’n’ roller with something to say. He plays both dusty rock ’n’ roll and intimate ballads.

His latest album, Voodoo Pop, was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, by musicians who have worked with artists such as Chris Stapleton and Jack White. Jambalaja selected the single “Willie’s Joints” as Song of the Year in 2021, and Son of Fortune is once again on the way with new music.

For the concert at Biskupstøðgarður, Son of Fortune will perform original music—everything from the AVE album, created with Petur Pólson, to newly written songs. There will also be a few cover songs from “Jakkanum” and Símun Konoy.

This is an intimate seated concert, with guests seated at tables. Each table has space for four people, so it is important to book together if you wish to sit together. The small kitchen will be open, offering light bites, good wine, and a selection of teas.
